[kronolith] Change in view start time - instantaneous?

   Minor thing, but my users are confused.
   If a user goes to

Settings > Preferences > Calendar > User Interface

   and adjusts

"What time should day and week views start, when there are no earlier events?"

   and then looks at the calendar in the "Day" view immediately there  
is no difference. If, however, they wait a few hours and check again  
then the change has taken affect.
   Is this expected behavior? Or a browser cache issue?
