[kronolith] umlaute broken with german holidays

No, I experience the same problems as you. But I said that in *your*  
screenshot the umlaut in "Mariä Himmelfahrt" is displayed correctly  
whereas it is not display correctly in "…Linkshändertag". The same  
holds for me and that's why I guess it's the PEAR package that is  
broken and not Horde.
