[sam] the defang_mime textfield

I don't know, what is the defang_mime textfield used for. I didn't find any 
"defang_mime" in the "perdoc Mail::SpamAssassin::Conf" page and anywhere 
else too.
So it looks like it is contained in the SAM only. The mails sent with and 
then without the "defang_mime" checked was the same, excluding some small 
details - certainly.
Can you give me some PRACTICAL example, how can I use this option?
