[sam] sam + SQL && user_prefs?

Does sam only work with SA's SQL functionality or does
it also capable of using it's .spamassassin/user_prefs
files?

P.S.  I saw on this list a little while back that
someone had back ported sam for use with horde2 and
imp-3.1.  Would it be possible for me to get a copy?  Thanks.
