To test via Eudora, run Eudora, find the "Change Password" menu item,
and try it. If it seems to work, verify that the password really changed
(by trying to login, etc).

To test by hand, from unix or unix-like machines:

unix$ telnet localhost 106
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to localhost.
Escape character is '^]'.
200 poppassd v1.4 hello, who are you?
user test
200 your password please.
pass myoldpassword
200 your new password please.
newpass mynewpassword
200 Password changed, thank-you.
quit
200 Bye.
Connection closed by foreign host.
unix$

Then, again test that it really changed...
