Actually I only use HEAD builds when absolutely necessary. I was having a
problem for some reason with Kronolith so I grabbed the latest HEAD to try
out. Unfortunately it is looking for a file that isn't in the latest
Horde. I went to look in CVS for it but for some reason I haven't been
able to access the web interface for cvs the past couple of days so now I
have to go back to the Alpha release until cvs is back up.

I assume you mean mime.magic. When I compiled php I added
--with-mime-magic=/usr/share/magic.mime to the config. Also in the
php.ini file I have mime_magic.magicfile = ".:/usr/share/magic.mime"

Vacation was a problem for me too. I couldn't find it so I ripped the
file from another server of mine that had it :-)
These methods I use may not be the best. I mean I have spent an ungodly
number of hours trying to get everything working. There is a huge
learning curve for me this time around since I'm installing a bunch of
these packages for the first time and this is also my first time working
with these Alpha and HEAD releases. I hope you have better luck than I
did.
Enjoy,
Dan
