[sork] LDAP problems with accuont module

I have a strange problem here, the "Accounts" module seems to have some 
problems connection to the LDAP server, producing the following message: 
Could not bind to ldap server

The server is running, I can telnet to it locally, the webserver which 
is also running locally should be able to talk to the LDAP as well.

Have anyone else experienced anything similar and would be wiling to 
share their knowledge.
