[sync] SyncML and T610

I tried the cvs version of syncml with my T610:
The first error I get is the session which cannot start:
PHP Fatal error:  session_start(): Failed to initialize storage module: user
(path: /var/data/sessions) in /usr/share/php/Horde/SyncML.php on line 155

This could be something wrong in my install but horde itself works 
perfect so I
have no clue where to look for the error.

Anybody any ideas?
