[sync] String index out of range: -9

Hello everyone,

I recently got a Sony Ericsson W800 and I want to synchronize my Horde
data with the phone.
I configured it as described somewhere else here and it does not
connect, instead it tells me something about an invalid server response.

For testing I installed Sync4j SyncClient PIM demo on my PC to see
what's wrong.

I only get "String index out of range: -9" here. Horde is latest 3.1 RC1.

Last lines of debug console:
     <Last>0</Last>
     <Next>1136453202</Next>

   </Target>
  </Item>
 </Get>
 <Final></Final>
</SyncBody></SyncML>

10:27:01:031 [INFO] - The server alert code for contacts is 201

10:27:01:031 [DEBUG] - source - Name: calendar| Status: 201
10:27:01:031 [INFO] - Synchronizing contacts, calendar

And in the main message window:
Setting up SyncManager...
Synchronizing...
String index out of range: -9

The connection has to use https://, perhaps that could be an issue?
Or is something wrong about the "location"? I used "calendar" and
"contacts" in Sync4j.

Any help appreciated!

Thanks in advance
Fabian
