[sync] Question on syncing

just a short story on this:

i have a customer who is using an windows mobile handheld with the
Synthesis client. As he have thousands of events in his
(mobile-)calendar - the checking of changed events takes 2 minutes - the
sync afterwards a few seconds ;)

BTW: as far as i know the "sync only last 30 days" function does not
work for now with the Horde-Backend, right?
