Integration with IMP

Where can i find good information on how to integrate Turba with IMP?

Looks to me that Turba is the only way now for using contacts with IMP, but
i can't find anywhere how should the sql database (mysql in my case) be
created.

This doesn't seem to be what you're asking, but everything you need is in 
horde/config/registry.php.dist.

turba/scripts/drivers/turba.sql.
