[turba] Handheld synchronization

Dear All,

Given that some institutions have upwards of 1000's of users, I am
certain admins of kronolith and turba will have hit upon the problem of
synchronization of the former with handheld devices.

I have not devoted much though to the subject and aside from the
rigmarole of export, import, import export etc cannot imagine a more
elegant solution. Ideally we would like to see Horde and friends
completely replace any Microsoft Outlook solution. A prerequisite for
the success of this displacement is an efficient and user friendly
interface for synchronizing handheld devices.

Has anyone experimented with solutions?
