I run a simple ls -ltr in horde/*/config|less immediately after doing a 
cvs update and then I run a simple menu driven script that I wrote sometime
ago that first does a diff -u to show all the changes and then sdiff to select
from the two files creating a new third file.  It then gives the option to 
replace *.php with the new third file.  It is far from being bulletproof but 
if you want a copy as a starting point, I'll send a copy to you directly.  
I find it easier than doing it manually.
