[turba] mysql and turba updates

Horde developers,

I setup myodbc for mysql.  I am running all the newest stable releases...imp 
3.1, horde 2.1, etc.

When I use msaccess to write entries directly into the turba tables everything 
works perfectly.  The only thing I dont enter is the 
HORDE.Turba_Objects.object_id which i assume is autogenerated by turba when it 
inserts a record. Even if I dont insert it the records can be retrieved by 
turba successfuly....with that field null.

So to my question.  Is it okay to do this or is there some unforseen issue that 
I am not aware of.
