sorry for answering so late
i now it works yust fine for a preferences-based adressbook (in LDAP).
i have tested it

But the distribution list seems not to work for :
A local address book in an LDAP directory  and 
A personal adressbook in an LDAP directory.
because there are no example in  sources.php.dist for 
'__type' and '__members' 

this examples are only for :
A local address book in an SQL database and a preferences-based adressbook (in 
LDAP).

am i rigth ?
