[turba] Browsing address entries in Turba 2.x

I just installed the latest version of Turba (as of yesterday) it's a pretty
vanilla install with a mysql data store. I can address book entries and if i
browse the mysql table the entries are there, but if i browse through turba
or search for that matter, i don't see any of my entries. Does anyone have
any suggestions what i might need to do differently?
