[turba] Lists on One Source From Another

Just a quick question about Lists in Turba HEAD.  I have let's say 2 sources,
"Public Directory" and "Mailing Lists" - each modifyable by Admins.  What I
want to do is essentially put just Lists in the "Mailing Lists" (duh), while
keeping all the names in "Public Dir"  Currently, you have to copy the names
over, and then create a list, which is kinda dumb since it just doubles the
listings.

I really don't want to combine the 2 because when composing in IMP, 
it's nice to
have the lists in 1 long listing since there's 20+ so far - finding would be a
pain in a list of 250 users.

My question is, would it be possible to create lists in 1 source, from entries
in another?  Of course I'd be willing to write some code, but I'm not 
100% sure
how it's determining this in actions.inc:
if (!empty($cfgSources[$source]['map']['__type'])):

Any help would be appreciated!
