[turba] addContact gone?

I was going through the docs for turba and checking out the api
functions. There's an addClient function, but I think what I want is
an addContact. Looking through this mailing list, addContact was added
when addClient was added
(http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=turba&m=106517207002460&w=2) but I
don't see addContact anywhere now (in HEAD).

By the way, what's the difference between a client and a contact?
Isn't it just that a client is a contact in the directory/address book
specified for clients?
