[turba] Problem running the upgrade script 2004-10-26_create_default_histories.php

Hi,

We are trying to upgrade from Turba 1.2.2 to 2.0.3. Our "Turba_objects" 
table has more than 100000 entries for about 7000 users. When running 
the  "2004-10-26_create_default_histories.php" upgrade script, the 
memory used by the script grow to more than 500MB and then simply dies 
without doing anything, probably running out of memory.

What does this script do? Is it possible to rewrite it so it can 
process a large number of entries more efficiently? What will be the 
problem if this upgrade script is not run?
