I have never tried shared address books, but I guess, you should try
to edit permissions via the pertinent Horde menu.

However, I could find no description about the exact
meaning of the various permissions you can grant, or deny.
In particular, nowhere it is said whether the permissions
attached to an addressbook pertain to the addressbook,
or to the individual entries. Also, there is no explicit
"create" right, just "Show", "Read", "Edit", and "Delete".

Generally, you proceed thusly:
- Log in to Horde, as an administrator.
- Activate "Administration/Permissions".
- In the line labelled "all permissions",
klick on the key-ring symbol at the far right.
- Choose "Adressbook (Turba), then hit "Add".
- In the same manner, add the "Sources" under Turba,
and then the Addressbook you have defined, under Sources.
- In the line of interest, klick on the notepad+quill symbol.
- Now define suitable permissions for all users.

You could experiment with the "Edit" right, attached to
the Adressbooks, in general, or to your particular
adressbook.

Perhaps, one of the developers can shed some more light on
this issue.

Good luck,
   Otto Stolz
