[turba] error ora-01704 updating oracle blob field

Hi all,
on a last version Horde Groupware Webmail Edition having Oracle 11.2.0.4 
as backend.
When I try to add a photo to a contact in Turba there was an error 
ORA-01704: string literal too long.
The field object_photo  is defined as BLOB (until 4Gb of data) but the 
picture I'm trying to upload is not very large.
I can't find any info in lists.

Any help?
