[horde] horde / imp login

Hi,

I've setup horde with imp and a couple of other things on a freebsd box running courier 0.38.0.
Is there a way that when a user logs in to horde or imp to set a default time out ?

If one logs in to horde with a wrong password, all proccesses stop to respond in regard of horde / imp 
until the timeout is reached, wich is about 20 to 30 seconds.
