I noticed that a while back, the gallery ID was moved from an MD5 hash to a
user-defined value.  I was creating a handful of galleries so I could work on
the gallery list & realized that I don't really like that feature.  If some
other user is already using the ID, it doesn't let me create the gallery.  I'd
rather just specify the gallery name & description, then let the system take
care of the unique ID.

Is there any reason that we moved from the MD5?
