That just points the fact that your permissions got a little mixed up.
It's easy to do, I've done it myself when I was first playing with
permissions. For public access to the ansel albums, Guest needs to have
Read and Show permissions. Default doesn't matter (at least I don't
think so, mine is set to no permissions).

As for the "Horde bar", I'm assuming that you mean the menu bar at the
top and not the left frame with all the Horde services. I don't think
that you want to disable the menu bar, how else would someone navigate
around the galleries without it? You can disable some of the buttons on
the menu bar (help comes to mind), but I don't think you can remove it.
The left frame, however is completely removable. It's an option that is
set in the Horde conf.php file. Also, if a user goes directly to an
underlying Horde application, they won't get the left frame at all (i.e.
http://www.foo.com/horde/ansel). But then they can't login to Horde.

Chuck, Jan, is it possible to add a login button to the menu bar of all
applications? I know you can put a logout button up there, but I don't
remember seeing an option for login. And if so, is there an easy way to
add it to all Horde application without having to do it for each
application individually (sorta like the help button)?
