I notice that on bugs.horde.org, when you do an issue search, the "Summary"
link in the search results also has a title attribute that appears on
mouseover.  In my Firefox, it pops up with a square background.  The IMP
message list title tags popup in a rounded background.  So there must be
some style influence on the background.  I'll look into this further and try
to figure out what classes influence the title background and if it can be
manipulated.  

However, I find no bugs w/o spaces in the summary, so this may be a deadend.
