works perfectly for me using:

horde H3 3.2-cvs
mnemo H3 2.2-cvs

from 07.02.06

to reproduce:
 * added new notepads
 * added notes in them 
 * selected 2 notepads to display
 * set "Notes" as the default module to be shown after loggin in
 * logged out
 * logged in
 * the content of the notepads I selected before are shown
