That fixed a bunch of stuff.  The remaining problems:

In the mailbox view,

1) The check boxes need to be right-aligned as well so their position
remains constant.
2) The navigation arrows point in the wrong direction, eg ">>   >      < 
<<", but it should be "<<  <    >  >>"

In the message view:

1) The brackets in the date are facing the wrong direction since the date is
English characters
2) Similar problem with the From address.  The '<' and '>' are in the wrong
place/wrong direction.
3) The parenthesis in the Mailbox: Subject header have a similar problem.

Compose page:

1) The text box labels and input boxes have an extra space between them for
the "To", "Cc", and "Bcc" fields.
