But if this is used by default in Horde too, it is a bug in Horde. Either
don't use the function by default so that a user has to set/use it
manually, or fix the function to be not broken.

The way it is currently, it is definitively a bug (either in Horde or in
the FreeBSD package). I don't care if the bug is that the function is used
by default or if the bug is that the function does not guess right. What I
do care about is that it doesn't work. I care much enough to send a bug
report about it so that it can be fixed or other people are at least able
to find a solution in case they stumble over the same problem.
