The case I had in mind was for any arbitrary date field to be added by an
admin and have the ability for it to show up as an exported timeObject. 
Right now, we need to add code in the api for a new field to appear.  I
wanted to be able to have the admin be able to add/remove timeObjects from
being exported without touching code (other than any changes in
attributes.php/sources.php of course).
