Hm, that's strange. The redirection to the login screen is done in the 
lib/base.php file of each Horde application. The only difference I can see 
by a quick look between Chora and the other apps is that authentication 
check is done very late in base.php.
You can try moving the "if (!Auth::getAuth..." part just under the registry 
initialization further above in the same file. But this is just a wild 
guess. ;-)
