[chora] diff on solaris 8

I've installed Chora on Solaris 8 and cannot get a diff for two revisions due to the fact that -p is not supported by the
default diff in /usr/bin/
the php and httpd user is set to find my diffutils diff, but for one or another mysterious reason it is still looking for /usr/bin/diff.
I've read in previous postings that there is nothing hard coded to the path of the diff.

Anybody dealed with the same problem??
