Sorry, I wasn't clear enough - I meant that in subscribe mode only,
there would be an option to 'view all folders' that would then give you
the option of subscribing to those ones.

Woah!  Someone was _just_ saying that to me; their main comment was
that if you go to the navigator and try and create a folder, 'it doesnt
work'.  Selecting the INBOX by default (something should be selected
there by default) solves that problem, but it's still pretty unintuitive 
I think.
