After these changes, the page no longer wants to render under
Netscape 4.7 (Windows).
It appears to only be a problem with the main page.

It should also work if base.php uses $GLOBALS['calendar'] instead. This happens
since Kronolith's base.php is included from within a function, so it doesn't
execute in global scope.
