I think it's best to leave the values the way they are now
(separate), because that will generally be easier for all end
users to understand and modify.

Making your simple change locally shouldn't be a problem, though.
Because config/registry.php is simply a PHP script, just add a
new variable or constant at the top of the file and rewrite all
of the desired paths below (in the $registry hash) using that new
variable or constant.
