An Object IDentifier. Each schema element is identified by a globally
unique Object Identifier (OID), thus any objectclasses or attributes
defined should be unique.

See http://www.openldap.org/doc/admin/schema.html#Extending Schema for a
brief description and links to the IANA and their form to apply for an OID
(http://www.iana.org/cgi-bin/enterprise.pl). It comes in a few days, not
weeks.
