 Here is a small patch of current Head, which add metric conversion to wind 
speed, and correct an unexpected rounding behaviour (php 4.2.2 ?) wich leads 
to ignore decimal parts of floats  (x*1.609 was displayed  x* 1 where 
x*1609/1000 displayed correctly  ????)
