It wasn't really added to the bottom menu, but to Menu::printItem().

Sort of. You shouldn't see this in Mozilla as Mozilla users get the new menu
that doesn't have access keys. You should get the old menu only with
browsers that aren't DOM capable.
That leads to another problem. Browsers that aren't DOM capable probably
won't support access keys either, so there's no point in displaying them at all.

No. And that's the reason why I didn't add them to the new menu. It was
rather a side effect that they have been added to the bottom menu.
