[dev] access key issue

Access key support was recently added to the bottom horde menu. Problem is,
at least for me with Mozilla on linux, they only work if I first click in
that frame, which is a real pain in the you-know-what.
So basically, my users all think that they don't work, and tell me they are
broken. If I bother to tell them to click in the frame first, they have no
idea what I'm talking about since the frame is the same color as the rest
and has no borders. If they do manage to understand, they come to the same
conclusion I did, which is this is a real pain.
So, questions are:
1) Is this browser/OS specific at all?
2) If they don't work unless you click in the frame, are they really of much
use? (In the old menu system I'd say no, but in the new menu system they
might be better as when you click to expand a heading you will have brought
the frame into focus, but this is still pushing things).
BTW, I love the access keys in the rest of the apps (main frame).
