[dev] Jabber Connectivity

Hey everyone, so I have been working with Jabber for a while now, an instant
messaging system, and was wondering if anyone had thought about writing a
HORDE module that connected into a JABBER server and provided alerts from
HORDE like upcoming appointments, new email, etc. alerts?
Just a random thought...anyone like?
