Forgive what may be a stupid question:

When these files change, how should I update them?

1. Is there a way to update them with the pear installer ("pear update
framework/Util/package.xml", maybe)?

2. Uninstall the old one and install the new one ("pear uninstall Horde_Util",
then "pear install framework/Util/package.xml")?

3. Can I just copy String.php from framework/Util/ to /usr/share/pear/Horde/?
