[dev] new application development HowTo

Hi all,

I plan to develope a application for horde. It will be a Document 
Management tool.

I'm new to php, because I'm actually a Linux Admin / Java Programmer.

So I would be glad to get some suggestions from you out of your horde 
programming experience.

*) What development tools to you use !? Just editor, or something like 
Eclipse ( www.eclipse.org )
*) How is the best way to start off with an Module ? With the skeleton 
or with an existing application.
*) any more suggestion out of your experience !?
