VERITAS, wisely, decided to make the places there could be interdependencies
in their product lines use common release numbers.

Which version of a NetBackup module do you use with NetBackup Server 5.0?
The 5.0 version, of course.

Which version of Cluster Server do you use with Volume Manager 3.5?  3.5, of
course.

How do these relate?  They don't, because they don't have to -- any version
of the backup product will work with any version of the Volume Manager.
