In what sense? It would be used for just expiring the cache. And if you're
installing a new app you have to go into the admin screens anyway to generate
the conf.php.
Would actually be more automated, since you wouldn't have to go fiddling with
the registry disactivating apps that aren't installed or changing paths for
ones installed in different dirs.
