[dev] imp -- purge mail problem

I get this error:

  Notice: Object to string conversion in /usr/lib/php/DB/pgsql.php on line 397

in 2 scenarios:

  1) when deleting a message & not using trash

  2) when deleting a message from the trash

I've narrowed it to a pear error being generated in
framework/History/History.php on line 255.  This pear error returns a message
like:

  imp:imp.ben.<20040721143425.E2362E003B at stu.distanthaze.com> does not exist

I have the latest cvs, updated framework, updated pear packages.  Any ideas?
