[dev] Multiple copies of HEAD

I have a version of HEAD that is a few months old.  I was trying out the
latest and of course ran the install-packages.php script to update my
framework.  Unfortunately, it broke the older version of head.

That's OK though, because I just have to run the framework from the
older version to get it working again.

Is there a way to have both framework's installed at the same time?
