disagree.  xlhtml/ppthtml are not "standard" programs/libraries 
distributed with most commercial (and, for that matter, non-commercial) 
distributions of *nix/bsd/etc.  These user compiled/installed programs 
are more traditionally installed in /usr/local rather than /usr.
