Patches would be best. Otherwise please create specific enhancement

Probably only because you don't map them to something, or don't have  
fields in Turba to map them to.

You can already customize your address book fields in sources.php.

Please search bugs.horde.org. There's already a todo for handling  
pictures in Turba.
