Hi,

I had a look at http://www.freesoft.org/CIE/RFC/1521/6.htm

Rule #4 and Rule #5 state that the soft line break is represented as "=\r\n"

>>> Hi
>>>
>>> Saving Messages with "Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable" and
>>> lines with more than 73 chars seems to confuse "Outlook Express"
>>>
>>> Imp Replaces "\r\n" with "\n" so that the end of a line with more than
>>> 73 chars looks like "=\n". Outlook Express prints out the = and
>>> deletes the charakter that would normaly follow.
>>>
>>> Saving the same Message with an other Windows Mail-Client (i.e.
>>> Thunderbird) the "\r\n" is not replaced and Outlook Express shows the
>>> message with no errors.
>>>
>>> Thunderbird has no problems with the replacement.
>>>
>>> Is this a Bug in IMP or in Outlook Express?
>>
>> Are you talking about this (non-)issue?
>> http://bugs.horde.org/ticket/?id=3565
>>
>> If not, then I am unclear what you are referring to because IMP has no
>> "save message" feature.
