You don't mention it anywhere I see, but I'm going to guess that you  
are using PHP4, correct?

I just fixed some issues that were affecting Ansel running under PHP4.  
  If you update to the latest Ansel on the FRAMEWORK_3 branch, these  
issues should hopefully be fixed.
