My .02:

I like having a hover-effect, but I think the default styling of the  
popdown (and to be honest, the actual Reply/Forward/etc... buttons as  
well) is way too light. To me, they look too much like disabled form  
buttons. Maybe a darker color for the text, and either darken (or  
widen?) the button borders on hover?
